Here are some of the ways me and my small biz are trying to tread lighter on the planet:
🌳 For every print you buy from me a tree is planted.
I've signed up to Ecologi so that every bit of art I sell gives back to the environment. One print bought equals one tree planted by Ecologi and they offset my carbon foot print with a tree planting top up too.🌳
🌍My art is NOT mass produced but made by me from home in London - not a remote factory thousands of miles away. AND it’s always limited edition of up to 150 prints - so your unique art print stays unique and doesn't get reproduced and diluted
✋My screen prints are HAND PRINTED by me with water-based acrylic inks onto 300gsm FSC certified paper (sourced from sustainable forests where regrowth is paramount).
✌️My giclee prints are PRINTED TO ORDER onto fine art, archival paper, meaning no no excess stock and waste. The paper made of smooth cotton and cellulose (an organic compound obtained from wood pulp) and from sustainable sources.
🌱I use ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING - biodegradable cellophane bags; recycled grey board for backing unframed prints; recyclable cardboard for outer post packaging.
📦I use LESS PACKAGING to reduce waste - by using custom fit strong cardboard boxes for snug-fitting frames and cardboard mailers for unframed prints.
